With the college and prep seasons winding into their final stretches, the 2025 MLB Draft is beginning to take shape — and all signs point to a deep, intriguing class filled with high-end talent across the board. Leading the way is Stillwater (OK) High School standout Ethan Holliday, the son of former All-Star Matt Holliday and a potential No. 1 overall pick thanks to his advanced left-handed bat, strong frame, and bloodlines that scream big league pedigree.
Behind Holliday is a diverse group of prospects vying for top-10 status. SEC slugger Jace LaViolette has loud tools and 30-homer potential, while high school shortstop Kayson Cunningham offers a well-rounded, hit-first profile with twitchy athleticism and advanced instincts.
