Adam Schefter Throws Some Cold Water on the Bears-Ben Johnson Dream
Last week, Bears fans were sent into a tizzy when Albert Brett mentioned that the Detroit Lions Offensive Coordinator, Ben Johnson, was interested in the Chicago Bears head coaching position last offseason. And why wouldn’t there be excitement? Johnson is a highly attractive target, and very few people are otherwise enamored with the work being done by Matt Eberflus and Shane Waldron. But just one week after that report, ESPN’s Adam Schefter seems to be throwing cold water on the idea.
