Bears-Packers Preview

Plus: Cubs pitching department changes, Bedard's heater, Odunze injury

Packers Week used to be a reminder of what the Bears weren’t. This week, it’s a chance for the Bears to show exactly who they are. Chicago can remain atop the NFC, stay in control of the division, and put distance between themselves and their oldest, most frustrating rival. The Bears can walk out of Lambeau with a 10-3 record — and position themselves for a sweep of their toughest remaining games still on the table.

As for Caleb Williams, he can become something Bears fans haven’t seen in generations — a quarterback who walks into Lambeau Field and walks out with the stadium quiet behind him.

Again.

If he does, this rivalry will feel officially reborn. And for the first time in a very long time, the Bears might finally have the quarterback holding the pen.
