Bears Preview: Ben Returns to Detroit

Is there such a thing as a “must-win” game in Week 2 of the NFL season? It sure feels like it for the Chicago Bears as head coach Ben Johnson returns to Detroit to take on the Lions.

Ben’s former boss, Lions Head Coach Dan Campbell, seems to feel that same way.

“We’re going to win this game. We have to,” Campbell told reporters this week of the Lions’ matchup with the Bears on the heels of a disappointing loss to the Green Bay Packers last Sunday.

Both teams woke up this morning trailing the Packers by a game and a half before they even kick off their second game of the season, thanks to Green Bay downing Jayden Daniels and the Washington Commanders on Thursday Night Football to open the week.

So, perhaps Campbell is correct, and this is a must-win game for both sides.
