Bears Sign Pair of Draft Picks

Finally.

The Chicago Bears reportedly have another second-round pick ready to roll for the start of training camp.

Ozzy Trapilo, the second of the Bears’ three second-round selections from the 2025 NFL Draft, has a done deal with the team. The Tribune’s Brad Biggs (via Twitter/X) was the first to report on the news.

In case you are unfamiliar with what has been happening in the NFL lately, second-round picks have been late to sign after two of the top choices in the round were given fully guaranteed deals. After seeing their NFL Draft classmates get those types of contracts, I can understand why those behind them were taking a hard-line stance in an attempt to get similar treatment. Hence, I find it worthwhile that Ozzy Trapilo’s deal includes two years of fully guaranteed money on the front end, with Year 3 including 72 percent worth of guarantees.
