The Chicago Bears were rumored to be active in the pass rush market leading up to today’s trade deadline, and now they’ve made a move. According to ESPN’s Adam Schefter, Chicago is sending a sixth-round pick to the Cleveland Browns for DE Joe Tyron-Shoyinka and a seventh-round pick.

Tyron-Shoyinka has no sacks and nine tackles for the Browns this season, but has totaled 15 sacks in four seasons with the Tampa Bay Buccaneers. Tryon-Shoyinka was selected 32nd overall in the first round of the 2021 NFL Draft by the Buccaneers in 2021.

For what it’s worth, Tryon-Shoyinka has posted a 72.2 overall grade and 73.5 pass rush grade at PFF this season.
