Caleb Williams and the Chicago Bears offense had a great Week 1. Williams delivered one of his best performances; the offense scored 59 points, and Chicago enters Week 2 at 1-0 as it prepares to host the Minnesota Vikings. The Vikings are also 1-0 entering Week 2, after using their blitz to rattle Jordan Love and the Green Bay Packers down the stretch last Sunday. This sets up a battle of unbeatens at Soldier Field, with the winner assuming early control of the NFC North. It may still be early September, but Sunday has plenty at stake.

Bears Head Coach Ben Johnson said something interesting this week about facing the Vikings and, in particular, Vikings Defensive Coordinator Brian Flores.

“You try to have answers for everything,” Johnson said. “He’s been in this division three years now, and you’d like to think he’s put everything he could possibly do on tape until you play him next and you realize he hasn’t yet.

“So, it’ll be something new. There always is with him, and that’s what makes him such a good coordinator. It’s a great challenge. It really is. You have a lot of fun on game day. Now the week or preparation is not so much fun, but there’s a lot of back and forth that goes into it.”
