Caleb Williams, Cole Kmet Honored for Week 6 Performances

Both players won their first weekly awards this week.

The votes were counted. Your voices were heard. And at the end of the day, Caleb Williams was crowned the FedEx Air Player of the Week.

Williams became the first Bears quarterback to win the award since Mitchell Trubisky did it in November 2018. Now that I’m thinking about it, Trubisky won it twice during that magical 2018 campaign. His first time winning the award came in October 2018. I know better than to see this as some predictive tool that forecasts future greatness. But I also know that it is cool to enjoy things. And with the Bears on a bye, I’m enjoying the heck out of QB1 getting accolades thrown his way.
