There have been some expected moves over the years, and maybe this isn’t THE most expected move ever, but as far as trades and big names go, this has to be one of the most heavily telegraphed. Cody Bellinger is being traded to the New York Yankees.

In a rumor that actually dates back to the 2023 Trade Deadline, the Cubs and Yankees finally agreed to a deal that made way, way too much sense not to happen, particularly after the Cubs landed right fielder Kyle Tucker.
