You know what I didn’t need in my life heading into the Fourth of July weekend? A hockey injury to have to worry about.
On Thursday afternoon, Ryan McGregor — who has been sharing clips of Connor Bedard practicing in Vancouver early this offseason — tweeted that Bedard fell awkwardly on his left shoulder and left the session in a lot of pain. That is not the same shoulder Bedard injured in December.
Later on Thursday afternoon, video of the reported incident surfaced on Twitter. And it doesn’t look great.
