The Cubs are back in action tonight, and Isaac Paredes will be in the lineup against the Cincinnati Reds.

Paredes will hit fifth and play third base for the Cubs, and Craig Counsell has Cody Bellinger hitting cleanup in the DH spot. Interestingly enough, Nico Hoerner is not in tonight’s lineup. Now, he may not end up being traded (we’re up against the clock here), but his absence from the lineup could indicate that the Cubs were, at least, considering a move.
