Cubs Drop Series in Milwaukee
The Cubs bullpen strikes again!
The Cubs bullpen is an unmitigated disaster right now. It bit them again this afternoon when Gary Sanchez drilled a go-ahead two-run home run with two outs in the bottom of the eighth inning in Milwaukee.
The eventual game-winning blast sent the Cubs to another series loss, this time dropping three of four to the first-place Brewers. Perhaps more brutal than the bullpen today was catcher Miguel Amaya. It was a rough day at the office for Amaya behind the dish, and the Cubs catching situation is equally as messy.
