The Cubs and Braves squared off at Wrigley Field today for the finale of their three-game series, and the Cubs lost 3-0. The Cubs have now dropped their third consecutive series.
The offensive has been brutal in the month of May. In this seven-game homestand against the Pirates and Braves, they did not lead for a single minute. Both of their two wins were walk-offs, and they dropped the other five games without ever leading.
