This isn’t exactly breaking news, but it is official news: The Chicago Cubs will open their 2025 season in Tokyo, Japan, against the Los Angeles Dodgers. The games will be played March 18-19 at the Tokyo Dome.

The games could feature a lot of Japanese star power, from Seiya Suzuki and Shōta Imanaga to Shohei Ohtani and Yoshinobu Yamamoto.
