Cubs Weekend Rotation Announced, Roster Moves, More
Here's who's pitching for the Cubs in their weekend series with the Pittsburgh Pirates at Wrigley Field.
The Cubs announced their starting rotation through the end of the week today (via Taylor McGregor). It starts with Javier Assad starting tonight in the finale of the Braves series, followed by Justin Steele, Kyle Hendricks, Shōta Imanaga, and Jameson Taillon (in that order) for their four-game series with the Pirates at Wrigley Field that starts tomorrow.
The Cubs also placed Keegan Thompson on the injured list with a viral illness retroactive to May 12. In his place, they promoted reliever Luke Little from Triple-A Iowa.
