Cubs Looking to Stay in the Win Column After White Sox Sweep
Now it’s time for them to ride that wave into Cincinnati for a four-game series with the Reds that starts this evening.
Never a doubt, right? The Cubs swept the lowly White Sox in a two-game set at Wrigley Field this week, albeit in dramatic fashion. Now it’s time for them to ride that wave into Cincinnati for a four-game series with the Reds that starts this evening.
The Cubs dropped two of three to the Reds last weekend at Wrigley Field despite having Javier Assad and Justin Steele’s turn in the rotations line up with that series.
Assad and Steele are up again and will start the first two games of the series, while Ben Brown and Shōta Imanaga will pitch the remainder of the series on Saturday and Sunday.
