The Chicago Bears are back at Halas Hall today for a walkthrough as they prepare for Sunday’s matchup against the Atlanta Falcons. Before they hit the field, head coach Ben Johnson delivered some less-than-ideal news on a few players’ injury situations, including Dayo Odeyingbo.
Odeyingbo, the Bears’ most productive defensive lineman this season, exited early in last week’s loss in Green Bay with a quad injury. Speaking with reporters today, Ben Johnson said they don’t see his injury as serious enough to warrant an injured reserve stint, but he will miss some time. We’re still a few days from getting the weekend designations, but that sounds like Chicago will be without Dayo for at least Week 6.
