The Chicago Bears being named the “best fit” for free-agent-to-be Trey Smith makes sense. But I think you’d be hard-pressed to find a more perfect offseason match than the Bears and Drew Dalman. Considering the revolving door of “meh” that has played center for Chicago’s football team in recent years, there is an argument to be made that reeling in Dalman in free agency is as important as landing Smith, who is regarded as the best free agent offensive lineman of his class.
