Everything You Need to Know About the Bears Matchup with the Vikings

Sunday will be no walk in the park for Caleb Williams and the Chicago Bears.

The Chicago Bears are at home this week, searching for their first victory since their trip to London in October. They’ll have to do it against their toughest opponent yet, the Minnesota Vikings.

There’s a small part of me—the part that felt the first bit of gratification as a Bears fan in a long time when he watched Caleb Williams lead a would-be game-winning drive against the Packers last Sunday—that wants to believe that the Bears offense can build on that performance, and build on that and surprise the 8-2 Vikings this week.

Very small.

There is no denying the Bears’ offense was better—perhaps the best it’s looked all season if you factor in the quality of the opponent compared to the opponents they beat previously this season. There’s also no denying this offense still has a way to go before we realistically believe it can hang with a top-five defense.
