While we are playing the waiting game when it comes to Rome Odunze’s status for the Chicago Bears’ upcoming playoff game against the Green Bay Packers, his quarterback made a declaration that grabbed my attention:
Bears quarterback Caleb Williams hinting at Rome Odunze’s imminent return put a big, goofy smile on my face. Odunze hasn’t played since Chicago’s Black Friday win against the Philadelphia Eagles in Week 13. After sitting out the first Bears-Packers matchup in December, Odunze tried returning to the lineup for the team’s Week 15 game against the Cleveland Browns. Unfortunately, Odunze reaggravated the foot injury that took him out of action in the first place and has been on the sidelines since.
