Is It Time for the Blackhawks to be Bold?
The Blackhawks desperately need some help offensively.
Thanksgiving is a time when NHL teams have historically had a pretty good idea of who their roster is, and what they need to change to make a playoff run. While injuries and slumps/heaters can impact the trajectory of any team between now and the trade deadline in March, Thanksgiving has always been time for organizations to take self assessments seriously.
We’re starting to get a feel that trade season might come before Christmas in the NHL. Some minor deals have already been made, but there are some teams that are starting to float some big names. And that’s fascinating if you’re considering the Blackhawks doing something to change their anemic offense sooner rather than later.
