It's Packers Week, But It Sure Doesn't Feel Like It

Let's be honest, the Bears season has felt like it's been over for some time now.

Another installment of the Chicago Bears Week 18 injury report ahead of the team’s regular-season finale against the Green Bay Packers is here.

Unfortunately, there are new names to add to the list — the biggest of which is cornerback Kyler Gordon. The standout nickel cornerback missed Thursday’s practice because of an illness. This comes one day after wide receiver Rome Odunze and offensive lineman Larry Borom sat out practice due to an illness. Borom returned to practice on Thursday and was a full participant. However, Odunze remained sidelined as he collected his second straight DNP of the practice week.

Gordon practiced in full on Wednesday, so to see him get a DNP on Thursday is concerning. The Packers plan on playing their starters in the final regular-season game at Lambeau Field this season. It was already going to be a tall task to slow down quarterback Jordan Love and his collection of receivers. Trying it without one of the defense’s better players would make things more challenging.
