Kyler Gordon Injury Situation
This is starting to look like a lost year for Kyler Gordon.
The 25-year-old cornerback has been limited to three games this season because of a variety of injuries. Sunday’s game against the Green Bay Packers should have marked his fourth appearance of the season. It was set to be his second game back after returning from a stint on injured reserve.
Unfortunately, for the Bears, it wasn’t meant to be. Gordon suffered a groin injury during pre-game warmups and did not play. Chicago’s defense felt the loss of Kyler Gordon throughout the game, particularly in moments when Packers receiver Christian Watson was streaking down the field.
But if you were hopeful that Kyler Gordon’s absence due to this latest injury would be short-lived, I wouldn’t hold my breath.
