This week is off to a dubious start for the Chicago Bears.
Losing to the Green Bay Packers on Sunday was enough. Now the Bears also have to deal with a Montez Sweat suspension. The Tribune’s Brad Biggs reports (via Twitter/X) that Sweat has been suspended for violating the NFL’s performance-enhancing substances policy. If the suspension isn’t overturned or reduced, Sweat will miss Sunday’s Week 6 game against the Atlanta Falcons and Chicago’s Week 7 showdown against the New England Patriots on Thursday Night Football.
