Moving Darnell Wright to Left Tackle is On the Table

Would the Bears consider moving Darnell Wright. Ryan Poles left the door open for the scenario.

With the 2025 NFL Draft being just one day away, the Bears (and the other 31 teams around the league) are finalizing their draft boards. And when it comes to Chicago’s football team, there has been a ton of chatter about an offensive lineman being on this front office’s list early on NFL Draft weekend.

However, the big hangup with this collection of draft-eligible offensive line talent is that there aren’t too many true left tackle options. Every prospect has warts, but even the top left tackle prospects in this class have often been forecasted to move inside or flip to the other side of the tackle box. It has made for some messy mock draft boards.
