Nico Hoerner was pulled from today’s game for pinch-hitter Matt Shaw. Hoerner had a solid double in the first inning and later scored. He came back out for defense, but then departed for his next at bat.

The team announced that Hoerner is dealing with “left-sided neck tightness.”
