PCA Joins the 20-20 Club!
And he becomes the youngest Cubs player ever to do so.
Episode 17 of the Bleacher Nation Cubs Podcast is officially live! And, well, it was live, too (we didn’t have our producer this week, so Brett and I tested out doing a “live” version of the pod). We didn’t tell anyone ahead of time, because we weren’t sure how it’d go. But now that we know it works, maybe it’s something we’ll do more often.
In this week’s episode, Brett and I talk about the legit STARDOM of Pete Crow-Armstrong and how he is the face of the franchise, even if he’s probably not yet a better overall player than Kyle Tucker. We also talk about the Cubs’ struggling offense, the playoff odds, and whether Jed Hoyer actually learned the right lesson this offseason.
After that, Brett and I play our weekly game. This time it’s about forced dream trades. I’m happy with where I landed, but I might’ve gone in a different direction if I had a heads-up.
