Reichel, Kurashev Fuel Blackhawks Strong First Period
The Blackhawks rode a hot start to the finish line over Colorado last night.
The Chicago Blackhawks topped the Colorado Avalanche on Monday night, and as Tab wrote, it came on the strength of their best opening period of the season. Chicago scored first, scored on the power play, and received goals from Philipp Kurashev—who was recently a healthy scratch—and Lukas Reichel—who’s been that a few times this season.
