Unfortunately, that was the extent of the Cubs highlights from Sloan Park today.
Seiya Suzuki was blistering hot for the Cubs at the end of last season and into the postseason, and he’s carried it forward to Spring Training.
For one at bat, anyway. The first home run of the year (kinda) for the Cubs, and it’s a Seiya Suzuki rocket:
Unfortunately for Cubs fans, that was the extent of the highlights today as the White Sox won 8-1 in the Cactus League opener at Sloan Park.
