Bits from around Cubs camp today.
With the Cactus League kicking off tomorrow at Sloan Park, Jameson Taillon is set to face the White Sox in game one. The Cubs have announced that Matthew Boyd – like, Taillon, a World Baseball Classic participant – will start game two against the Rangers, also at Sloan Park.
I tend to think that we’ll see a lot of the WBC guys this weekend, appearing earlier – and maybe for longer – than usual at the start of Spring Training.
