If you were hoping Chicago Bears quarterback Caleb Williams would take the podium at Halas Hall today and deliver the news you’ve been waiting for, think again.
Williams, who’s been sidelined since Week 2 with a hamstring injury, practiced in full again on Thursday. He was then made available to the media for the first time in weeks. If you assumed that meant he’d play on Sunday, I wouldn’t blame you. You may still be right.
But we’re not there yet.
