Watch Cubs vs. White Sox Live on Bleacher Nation!

That's pretty cool! Plus, a new weekly baseball column at Bleacher Nation debuts this weekend.

Happy Friday! I’ve got a couple of fun things to share with you this morning. First, if you plan on watching today’s Cubs vs. White Sox game, you can (and should) watch it live on Bleacher Nation!

A point of clarity: this refers to the Spring Breakout game featuring the Cubs and White Sox minor leaguers. In case you forgot, this spring, MLB is doing a very cool thing by pitting the top prospects from one organization against the top prospects from another organization in a game. It is entirely an exhibition, but it’s about as fun as it gets for prospect nerds.

The event is called Spring Breakout, and the Chicago Cubs game this year takes place on Friday, March 15, at 4:05 p.m. CT against the White Sox. It will be broadcast on Marquee, ESPN+, and across MLB’s digital platforms. But again, it will be broadcast live on Bleacher Nation as well!

Here is the full Cubs roster, together with their MLB Pipeline ranking in the new top-30 and the overall top-100 ranking, if applicable.

Alright, on to the next note this morning.

We’re roughly two weeks from Opening Day, so there’s no time like now to roll out a new recurring column here at Bleacher Nation: The Stretch. It’s like the MLBits series that the BN faithful are familiar with but longer and slightly different.

It’ll have a “whiparound” element like MLBits. But it’ll also be a place where we can talk baseball. It’ll be live at BN every Saturday from now until the World Series—and if you’re a BN Newsletter subscriber, you’ll get it on Friday from time to time. We’re going to kick things off with the news of the week in baseball: the Dylan Cease trade.

The following is an early access look at this week’s “The Stretch” column at Bleacher Nation, exclusively for subscribers to the Bleacher Nation Newsletter.
