When it rains, it pours. With starting quarterback Caleb Williams dealing with a hamstring injury suffered in the fourth quarter of Sunday’s loss against the Minnesota Vikings and his status for Monday’s contest with the Philadelphia Eagles uncertain (but likely doubtful), the assumption was that backup quarterback Tyson Bagent would start in his place.
Unfortunately, a report this afternoon has changed that dynamic. According to Ian Rapoport, Bagent is dealing with a concussion and is in the league’s concussion protocol, putting his status for Monday’s contest against the Eagles in doubt.
